 Okay, this was actually taken last weekend in July so it's my warm-up snap. Friends in the country invited me over on one of those 95 degree days. He and his family took me out to the river to cool off. I brought my D60 and snapped some pics of my friends and their kids at the river. My friend was sitting on the log with their new Lab puppy behind him. I called out to my friend to look over my way. Snapped the pic. I like how both he and the puppy are looking at me with that "what?" expression. His kids are in the background in the river.

Was worried I was going to slip on the slimmy rocks and dunk the camera.

That looks like a lot of fun! It's especially cute to see the puppy all wet! You know the dog was having a great time!

LOL, I think that I would title this "Cold Feet". It connects to something in me that evokes happy memories of wading in cold water when it is hot out.

I have to say, the puppy really makes the picture. I love that look - he's posing for you. Looks like he's ready to dive back in. Fun!

cool shot .!!. love the way the dog seems to be holding on to the log with his feet and the expression on both their faces ... its amazing, just having your feet in the water like that would cool you down heaps on such a hot day .. :)
