Nice focus and colours, the eyes are fantastic as well. The lighting is a little flat though, not sure what the lighting is here as there are lovely big catchlights in the eyes over to the right but there is no modelling shadow on the left of the face? It could have used a little more direction to the lighting, maybe turning her slightly? Not sure if the composition is a little dull as well? Such a great expression and lovely portrait just missing a couple of things to make it great. |

I like this shot, I think the background is simple and the natural light (I'm assuming its natural light) looks great on her face. My only critique would be that her chest looks alittle too bright, but that's me being picky. Overall its a good shot. |

beautiful natural lady! i don't like how the blue of her dress seems to tint her skin tones at some areas but otherwise it's a great portrait! |

she's lovely and the colours work, but the pose and composition are just too bland and central...perhaps another pose and a little more creativity in the composition would have made better use of this gorgeous model...the picture, as it is looks like a, 'Here, just stand against this wall' SNAP...
She has such lovely eyes and I think you didn't take full potential...sorry :( just trying to help

Oh gosh - I love red heads. I married a red head. Red heads are the best and most beautiful women in the world. Unfortunately, that's also the problem - red heads have alabaster skin tones and this creates a number of technical issues that you have to deal with - in particular with strong colored backgrounds - and their skin is so thin and light that you can almost see through it - good example on the subjects right arm at the AC joint - see the veins there? You don't normally see that. Then there's the background problem - the red bleeds through on the left arm and across the top of the sun dress on the subject's chest. You can tell it's red bleed through if you compare the blue sun dress - there is no addiitonal color cast, but the strong reds are very evident. Still, this is a very good image and portrait of a beautiful woman and the author should be congratulated on capturing a perfect pose - this subject is obviously very comfortable with her natural beauty, grace and charm and the author captured it completely. Technical issues are technical issues - there is an esthetic sense here that over comes the nitpicking in fine fashion - a favorite of mine so far. |

Unfortunately this shot of Macy has nowhere near the impact the B&W one has. |
