 photograph for the august snapshots side challenge

its a beautiful winter's day here in oz ..
this is katee eating a bone at 11 this morning so i'm gonna get points for shooting in full sun between the hours of 10am & 2pm !!

this is the processing ..
scaled up, sharpened then gaussian blur to edges to form a sort'v blurred vignette ..
shadow/highlight on katee ..
gaussian blur in multiply blending mode at 50% which i erased from katee ..
touch of levels and selective colour adjustment layers ..

this is the original snap ..

Nice job with the exposure! You were lucky to not have too much of her white parts showing. As always you get great shots by virtue of your perspective to your subjects. Way to get down girl!! :)

Aawww! I've missed her! I love how she always makes eye contact with the camera! I wish I could get my dog to do that!

It's unusual to see Katee laying down on the job.....usually, she's running and skipping everywhere. lol!

It's odd to see a winter scene with green grass :D

I love pictures of the Katee dog! She looks very happy here to be chewing the bone :D

Maybe she should've have said for people in the northern hemisphere 10-2 during the day and for us in the southern hemisphere 10-2 overnight! LOL
