 So here we go...
Me and my GF visited yesterday her grandma. She lives in this God forsaken village (at least that's how it looks to me) even though it's only 15km from the county capital. Everything is so 19th century. Anyway, before getting there we had to go through this place called... well, as u can see. In romanian the word "panic" doesn't have a meaning besides the name of this place, but if u add an "a" at the end of the word --> panica, u get the english meaning of the word. I thought it would be funny so here it is. The photo was taken with my Nokia E71 smartphone (3.2 MP) that's why is so crappy (I left my camera at home by accident):P
I'm late by one day but the bottom line is: Don't...panic!

The word beneath "Panic" is actually in hungarian. Here in Transylvania a lot of villages have hungarian inhabitants so the government passed a law to write the name of the villages or towns or whatever, in both romanian and hungarian if the population is at least 35% hungarian.

I think it would be easier for me to say "panic" than the word beneath it lol. It's interesting that the pole is bent the way it is. I like this cultural slice of life picture.

this is so not a crappy shot .. i love the nearly blockish feeling of the houses and the colours .. almost like a painting .. great find too .. :)

I search for signs like this too. Great find. I can see how this would cause "confusion" when asking "Where do you live?" Is there also a town named Confusion nearby? Fun shot.

Pretty good for a smartphone. This could be a stock photo to use as an illustration in corporate presentations about business strategy. Might be worth going back for optimal settings. Hope grandma is doing well, just beyond Panic.
