 Could not get the cool refractive light the eye sees to show in the shot.
Ceiling light...in the kitchen...with a camera. :P

Kat, Pretty cool--good concept!

I think the hardest part of lighting glass and shiny things is controlling or managing the reflections. I think you were hurt mostly by brightness of the wrench. Check out eyewaves recent chilli pepper shot--he has a lighting diagram that you might find helpful. I'm less than an novice in this area! :)
