 This was an image I was going to put in the 'Oil' challenge, but I was unsure of the legality of the process, so I emailed the SC and asked the question. Lucky I did.....it wasn't an expert edit.
This is actually a black squash ball dropped into a shallow baking dish of sump oil from the ride on mower. I then took a photo of a blow up globe of the world and overlaid this image over the squash ball. The composite image was then photographed straight off the computer screen and processed in CS3.
I know that this is not a snapshot, but it took so long to do (about 400 shots to get the right splash) that I thought I'd put it in anyway.
