 Steller Sea Eagle . the largest eagle in the world. This lovelly bird is unfortunately kept in a cage at the Jurong Bird Park. Had to shoot through the bars using my Sigma 150-500mm hand-held. Though the bird is well taken care, they still should be free.......

Synopsis of the Book: The Last Eagle
Isaac lives with his Uncle Walter and Aunt Matilde and his Cousin Rosie on a farm in Bavaria, in 1938. Isaac teaches skiing and mountain climbing. They all have an idyllic summer - then, it is time for Rosie and Edward, to go back to University and things go wrong. This fantasy story is about the adventures of people who are trying to exist in the turbulent times of the second world war. The Leader of Germany needs an expert mountaineer to help him and his men climb and ski; Isaac is recruited to teach them. Hitler stands on the White Cliffs of Dover and addresses a captive audience, but there are bands of people who oppose him. Isaac saves a young man from death who made an attempt on Hitler's life. He meets resistance fighters, some of them no more than boys. Isaac is fearful of the power that is being unleashed upon an unsuspecting world by Germany and Japan. He is right to fear, for the power of the atomic bomb is awesome.
