 The Image: Same man named Robert that I used for the Tunnel and Caves Challenge. Bought Robert a Pie and Sauce and a Hot Chocolate and gave hime some conversation and money. He is a great guy, just caught up in the tough side of life.

The Edit: Crop, some shadow/highlight adjustments over the whole image of course (in PS CS4). Contrast, curves, levels, usm, convert to grayscale, duotone, resize, one more sharpen, add border...that's it.

The Prediction: Well I wish this was Advanced Editing as I would have had a picnic on this shot...oh well... I reckon about a 5.9999...

Hey Hotpasta... this is the same homeless guy that's in your Tunnel & Caves photo :) ... though, if I'm wrong about that one being a hotpasta shot, then I'll be wrong about this one too... guess I'll have to wait and see when voting finished.

But to this photo. A great photo that doesn't follow the DPC friendly template. Details are excellent, but perhaps bordering on too much detail (especially the grime on the wall) and it becomes destracting. And while the items in the bottom left help paint the picture/tell the story of homelessness, they're also more a distraction that pull the viewer from the main subject. Don't get me wrong, *I* like this photo, but I'll be surprised if it reaches the dizzy heights of most hostpasta challenge entries (score wise at least).
