If you think the 5D has good noise control you should shoot with the 1DsMKIII or 1DMKIII.

I'm impressed. This would only be a passable snap on my XT. I'm not getting a 5D anytime soon, though.

Good tools make for better finished product. It's amazing what we will spend just to get a nice creamy smooth sky LOL! I'm happy for ya' about having the new equipment. I remember when I started using the S3, and could shoot at night with ease, which was a big change from the old Canon FTb and 35mm film. I was thrilled because that is the best time of day for me.

No noise reduction, correct. It is processed from RAW as far as saturation and all goes...
