 for the august snapshots side challenge

i took katee to the beach for the first time since she was a very small puppy yesterday ..
met up with a lady called wendy who i'd met the week before when i went to wollongong to have my car fixed ..
her dog tristan is the one in front, the other two are random dogs that came to join the fun ..

its a beach where you can take dogs without having to keep them on a lead ..

this is another one i took yesterday ..

this was last week ..

I wish we lived closer to the beach, my son loves it, and I'm sure his service dog would too. Looks like fun!

I remember when we went to a beach like this in the Bahamas with Scoobie the Sailor Dog for the first time, where she could run in the shallow salt water. After an hour of hard play, and constant "water biting" fun, she almost exploded, if you know what I mean : P
It was a terrific mess in the 8 ft dingy on the way back to the big boat. It was funny then, and even more so now. : )

Good game of follow the leader. Looks like a very fun time for the dogs. The orange tint of the beach goes well with the sky.
