i find it interesting that everyone seems to be looking away from the fountain - as if it is pushing them

Cannot possibly be a Deb snapshot without pigeons.

I heard that the local restaurants around Covent Garden were catching the pigeons and putting them on the menu, there numbers have been diminishing for years.

I see a serious flaw with this photo, Deb, especially since it is one of yours. Trafalgar square is known for hordes of pigeons everywhere! Where did they all go? You go to England and the pigeons hide!

When I was there in Aug 1999, to see the "changing", I was on the left side of the tower, between the tower and the bronze lions. Thanks for jogging the happy memory.
