8/17/09: No it is not Art, but I appreciate the compliment.
To the PM: Yes, you guessed correctly, but the whole scene is entirely natural. They are posed on rocks at Mt. Hope Park which abuts the Green River. You can walk to where this is 30 seconds after leaving your car. No fake background.

CO - Over thinking...think like the long standing thought that a Woody could not ribbon, but then a Woody shot did. Their frustration at not being recognized as 'whole' photographic subjects for so long. The torment and ridicule they have taken in the comments, the scorn and laughter at their expense. Sure, they are not as smart as you and I. But they still have feelings...at least I think they do. I thought I heard one scream as it got close to a flame once. Other than that I did not notice any blood when they scampered across the broken mirror. Is mirror glass as sharp as regular glass? I thought so. Well, you know how it goes. All is fair in imagination and photography...within the rules of course.

I was fully expecting to see some woodys in this challenge, glad I wasn't disappointed.
Not sure what exactly the message you're trying to convey here, it's clear they're going to burn the ribbons, but it's not entirely clear why, or am I just overthinking this? |
