 I'll do my best to explain bulldust holes.

Bulldust itself is very very very fine sand.

4WD's can get through bulldust quite easily. My car is a 2 wheel drive and I was able to drive through deep bulldust but at high speeds so I wouldn't sink. If I slowed down too much, I would've been sleeping in my car until someone else passed by, which in the outback can take up to a week; sometimes longer.

It's not always easy to tell if bulldust is on a road. It can look like a regular dirt road, only difference is the depth of sand on the road and how fine the grains are.

To the inexperienced, you won't know bulldust is up ahead until you are driving in it.

You also slide all over the road as well, it's a lot of fun if you know what you are doing.

It can only be driven in dry weather in a 2WD.

This road has only 2 holes, some roads I drove on had 100's of metres. One in particular had a 25km stretch of bulldust. That was a blast.
