Greetings from Andi via the Critique Club
First Impression: As your title says its a touch of pink and guess voters were looking for more than a touch.
Composition: I quite like this image but feel for the challenge a tighter crop to the pink areas would have helped (probable losing the left and bottom thirds). The main focus would have worked better if it wasn't as central I think.
Subject: Am not a fan of plastic flowers and you can tell its not real by the texture of the petals. A touch of pink might have worked better if there was not as much yellow in the image as thats over powering. The little green speck just below the main focus is a little offputting for me.
Technical: You mentioned you overexposed the image in PP but not sure why you did that? I do like the pastel colours but sadly the yellow over powers the pink (the challenge subject).
Final thoughts: The main focus is a little too central for me, in a different challenge I'm sure this would have passed the 5 mark. |
