Did this awhile back with the little p&s. Wasn't quick enough to get all of her closer up.
Nice comments; I refer to her in my files as the Queen Mother, though actually she is rather more elegant, less garden party. Was much taken with the simplicity of the cut of her suit, and its elegant drape, more visible in 'vanishing class,' and overwhelmingly absent hereabouts and in my closet.
Oh yes, lelez, the hat, definitely: hardly anyone does the hat thing any more, and I doubt that those who do have their own hat ladies: this one sits so well, the brim just so, it must have been custom made. |

Proper and elegant, good capture of the spirit of upper class sensibility of a former empire. Reminds me of similar settings in Victoria B.C. |
