My daughters Snapdragon flowers

Focal length @ 300mm hoping for a nice score but I know that people may guess what it is and mark down for that. I also Don't own a macro lens, so this was taken at 300mm, so the focus isn't what I would like it to be

Hi from the C Club

YOu asked for an in depth comment on your shot.

1st impression, it is very out of focus. try moving back from the subject when you have to go macro with your lens. you can zoom in in Photoshop to get what you are after. Some contrast to separate things would have helped as well. Flipping the canvas so that it was on the bottom looking up would have been more pleasing the eye

good try,

I can't find anything in focus. Manual or auto?

not enough sharp focus on this, if you had focused on the petal and let the "veins" of the flower be your abstract part of this you would have done better

I like the position of the object and the yellow is nice too, but it's too much black space and too OOF in my opinion! It looks like a good idea though.
Good luck to you, sorry if i was rude.
