 This is a picture of the center of a cone flower (pedals removed). I shot this using 2 extensions on my 50mm 1.8 at F22 and needed 2 AB 800's on either side at 3/4 power to get enough light.

Beautyful picture, BUT, an abstract image is not representing or imitating external reality or the objects of nature

first off I want to say this is a good photo...but a couple of things made me vote it down (you got a 5 from me) it is to centered, and for that matter I personally would have cropped the heck out of this...to give those abstract lines that blend and meld together so that the shape of the flower is obscured...anyway it is just my opinion...sorry
