 I'm fascinated by birds' faces, all of which seem to be as individual, when viewed close up, are as individual as our faces. This is the newest addition to my Bird Faces collection.

Oh dear, how embarrassing. It seems this is OOF, and I didn't realize that while processing. The bird's eye seems tack sharp to me, so perhaps noise reduction spoiled the rest of the image. Perhaps it's also time to get new eyeglasses. :)

I've posted a sharpened version of this shot. Let me know if you think it's better of if I should forget about this image.

It may be a tad soft in the focus, but is definitely still a keeper, particular in terms of your project. I prefer this to the extra sharpened version - seems more 'natural'.

Needs a bit more precision in order to be excellent. Sharpness is off just a touch.
