 Just back from 3 weeks in Europe, sorting through nearly 4000 photos and no time to pick the "best" for this month's Free Study. However, when I snapped this pic along the trail in the Bernese Oberland, I immediately told my daughter (a former DPC denizen) that that was an easy free study. And so it is. I'm thinking the unusualness and the bright colors (boosted the vibrance a bunch and the sat a little bit, then dropped the blue luminance a bit to deepen the sky) will push this one over 6. Where it goes from there is anybody's guess.

Shot at 1/50 with my Tammy and a polarizer, so a little soft around the edges. Did some Adamus sharpening to help it pop. Might be too much, so apologies in advance to any halo spotters out there. :-)
