Wonderful photojouralistiism - street photo ! The great use of b/w and the perfect DOF gets this one a 10 from me :) |

Nice use of high contrast. Unfortunately there is too much going on in "background" for the main subject skater to stand out clearly. Shallower DOF might help n that unless the intention is to show the confusion and buzz of activity. |

A nice "culture" study which really suits the b/w format.
If the guy at the skateboarders right knee was out of shot it would have helped to define the action even better as his leg seems to blend with the dark shirt.
Great action though and the lighting is first class..well done |

The background distracts. |

Nice action shot but a little to much contrast for my taste and the background is a little busy. Maybe a tighter crop? Blur the background? |

Good dark tones and a good urban gritty feeling to the shot. A little chaotic, but that represents well the subculture of skateboarding. The body language of the main skater is good, although wish I could see his facial expression a little clearer/closer (I think his tongue is poking out!). A good street shot. |

Nice action capture. A bit cluttered image, less DOF or a different angle of view would help to isolate the skateboarder more, in my opinion. |

A very well done image. Composition, focus, DOF and timing just perfect. I would love to see this image printed. Great tonal range and I can stare at thisimage the whole day. WELL DONE. |

well captured, would have kept it colour to help distinguish between subject and background |
