I just love the way natures curves and light work together to create beauty and grace. This was my first time visiting the Great Sand Dunes National park in Colorado. We had a great time, I could have stayed there and shot photos for an entire week it's just an awesome sight. The dunes in the photo are about 900 feet tall and have people climbing to the top all day, when you see a shot with people in it the people look like little ants climbing an ant hill. Great place to visit.

Beautiful harmonious and eye pleasing image. I love the fine detail in the sand whilst the smoothness and tones of the dunes have been retained. Lovely light and shadow play.

Hey, I thought I had the only dunes... Excellent shades. Very appealing!

The grasses at the bottom really anchor this shot. I like all the ripples in the sand.

This photo is expertly photographed - I love the green in the foreground, the crisp focus gives the sand texture but, and a minor quibble, the composition and the overall tone of the shot might be improved by cropping the sky out. 8
