I thought this might have been taken in Pueblo!! I'm just down the road from you and remember this day well. What an excellent capture!! I think this is one of the most under-rated images in the competition. Very well done!! |

Absolutely amazing and dramatic sky. Never seen a sky like this before. It has the texture and look of a blazing, billowing ball of fire except it's not red and yellow but shades of gray. The almost post apocalyptic silhouetted skyline looks dwarfed and overwhelmed by the explosion of furious sky. Really an impressive and very unusual image. |

I actually said "whoa" out loud when this popped on the screen.... scary looking clouds. We had some of those around my place a few weeks ago when tornadoes came down on the area. |
