I was looking forward to this challenge as soon as the topic was announced. I do not know where I had seen the idea before (I know it is not original) but instantly I knew that I wanted to project lines onto a model. It was a bank holiday weekend in the UK, but I had no projector and no model. I had emailed a few models from Model Mayhem, but none were interested. Even worse I spent the entire weekend in bed with the flu.
In desperation on Monday I did a deal on a projector advertised on eBay. The nice man delivered it to the house and was a happy his £60...bargain). I now needed persuaded my wife to pose for the shot. After getting her to look at my flabby self portrait attempt she felt sorry for me and agreed to pose for 15 minutes!!
The light of the projector was the only light source. Wide open shutter and 800 ISO enabled me to hand hold to minimise the shadows on the white backdrop.

After the abuse I got from the wife for buying a projector to enter a stupid photo competition! you can expect to see the projector in use for lots more challenges as I am going to get my moneys worth!! |

| I'm surprised it placed so low in the pack. Perhaps a bit too abstract for mass appeal? I gave it an 8 and I see the commenters average was quite high. I would call this a successful entry that hit it's target audience. |
