I love the bokeh here. I think the centered composition works perfect for this because you lock right on to its gaze. The image seems a little soft, perhaps a little USM could make it a little crisper? |

I've never seen a coyote up close. They have unusual features. Nice shot. |

These critters are usually very skittish. You lucked up to find this one so close and did a nice job getting the portrait. I have only seen a couple of them in this area, and they were already running when I spotted them. |

Great find ... as suggested, dodging a bit to bring out the catch light in his eyes might improve him a bit ... but just as is, this is a great shot. Are they showing less fear because ppl are encroaching on their territory or did you find him while out scouting? Thanks for sharing. |

Wow, I am so jealous, coyotes are so hard to find and especially to be this close to. Lovely background, I might dodge the dark part of his eyes just a little, otherwise really lovely!
Clearly I need to go back to AZ and find a coyote this time! |
