 I wanted to see how close my new 20mm lens could get to things. I though a bee would be a perfect subject because they are small and hard to photograph and it is easy to tell how small the DOF is on such a subject. With the composition and editing I wanted the focus to be on the bee and not the flowers so much.

Great macro shot you have here. Shame that it is the back and not the eyes that are in focus. Beautifull toning, but this is not what I think of when I think about Heida's style. If she had taken macro work, then it would probably look something like this. SO a bit of a shoehorn, but I got it on after awhile.
