 This is a sharpened version of a Free Study challenge entry that the voters felt was OOF.

I like the softness of the original, because the real bird is soft, but I agree the image is a bit OOF. So I have tried to strike a balance between sharp (which seems harsh) and soft (which seems OOF).

Let me know what you think. Is this better, or should I give up on it?
