Snowmelt fed mountain stream near Mt. Shavano in Colorado. This stream is only accessible from a moderately difficult 4-Wheel drive road. During snowmelt, streams like this rush down hill toward larger rivers and form the bulk of water available for use in Colorado.

Lovely stream. Good exposure and adequate Dof for the challenge. Try a slower shutter speed if you can - to make the water nice and velvety. (It may take a neutral density filter to make it work right.)

The shadows (especially in the forest) are a little too dark. Otherwise a great picture.
