Thanks guys. Especially the people who took the time to write something during voting. I am happy that some of you liked it as much as I liked it the minute I saw in on my LCD. I worked hard to get this shot and I am happy that I was able to capture it as I wanted while she was doing her own thing and moving like a fish.
Whatever the score, whatever the placing, I would still throw this in with what I consider as my best images.
Thanks again. |

This is probably one of the most unique shots I've seen in a while. Nice job. |

I like this a lot. The color is awesome and it is rotated nicely. |

This is by far my favourite image in this challenge... gave it an 8 on my first pass... bumped it to 9 on my second pass... and am now bumping it up to a 10 during my comment pass. I absolutely love this photo... so, I'm going to fav it too. Composition is perfect... as are all the other technical aspects of the image, but this also has a real WOW factor... truly inspiration work. Well done. |

This picture is interesting, but it seems like there is too much noise or something, which is a little distracting. |

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for my Mu (most underrated) award:
Positives: This image has instant appeal for me - I can't explain why, it's an image that I feel rather than just look at. I know that sounds cheesy but its true. I love the grain, the light, the bubbles, the large diameter ripple, the colour and even the centred composition. I love all of that but most of all I like the orientation / POV - it's not easy to identify 'up'. I feel underwater.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all, really nothing.
Overall: Just fabulous - an instant favourite. 10 - no question. |

I love this. It has that basic "one with the water" feel to it. |
