Challenge: Waiting (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S602Z

Aperture: F2.8

Taken during a rehearsal for the theatre company 'Blah Blah Blah'. The picture is deliberately high-key, there were loads of windows letting in a lot of sun and a very reflective floor.
I used my wife's camera, as my FZ10 is being repaired. The 602 is a great camera!
I think that I went a bit OTT with sharpening, it will be interesting to see what the consensus is.

You should sell this one to an advertising rep. This one looks just like something you'd use in a website.

Wow. This is outstanding. Not sure how you did it, but I love the sense of time and space here. 10.

She does seem to be waiting. An interesting use of negative space.

A very effective high key with excellent color selection. Negative space handled very well. I'd like to see just a bit more of the model's face.

Putting your subject to the side facing in adds a degree of suspence and tension that reinforces the idea of waiting.

Very interesting shot. Great job with the lighting and metering (or photoshop!) to have the background washed out but still have the subject properly exposed.

Excellent shot and use of space. I can almost see the 'waited for' person sitting opposite :)

Very plain, very simple and I really like the off-set composition.

Very nice portrait. The blown out area really works as negative space.

Nice variation on the typical image of someone waiting! The long white space for him to look into adds to the feeling of time passing.

I like this its simplistic, but still conveys a felling of waiting.
