I wish the lighting had come more from the side to help bring out all the detail in the wood and emphasize the metal even more.

Nice sharpness and good version of 9's. A background without texture and either very dark or at least with color tones less similar to the clothespins might have boosted this to the nine or ten level.

Great find, love the texture and tones, IMHO this would have been better if the entire image had been in focus, the DOF was a little shallow, the wood grain and textures would have been more prominent. 8

Good detail. I might have added more clothespins so the frame was filled, or cropped tighter.

I saw this 1 week ago at the abstract macro:

Don't know if you got your idea from there, but i like the light anyway, just think that the background and crop are not fitting there.
