Well, not really, but it will be interesting to see if anyone mentions that this is Hamilton, ON from the top of the Niagara Escarpment.
Processed from 3 RAW files in Photomatix, and poorly, I might add. Wanted to re-shoot, but could not find the time (I love you anyway, baby :-)). The exposures were 3.2/0.8/13 seconds respectively. I suppose the f/3.5 should have been more like f/8, but too late. Extensively post processed after tonemapping, including some Topaz/Color Blast for the sky tones. Also fixed a number of hot pixels...those long exposures really seem to bother my Rebel's sensor after a while.
Seeing as there are probably a lot of entries from the Ribbon hogs and Icelanders, my hopes are not too high...maybe just under the happy side of 6?
post - Nope, the metropolis remained anonymous for the whole week. Sweet! Thanks for your comments and critique...I was pretty well bang-on with my assessment.

It's an OK night shot nothing that wows. The building on foreground/left steals from the nicer part of the image, so I think a tighter, lefting it out, crop would have worked better.
Instant 7/10, love it. No fav, but still, this is great. Good luck with ribbon. A little noise up in the sky but I cant blame you for that. Darkening the image might make hat a little less noticeable and make the colors of the sky pop a bit more as well as the city... 7/10
