Hi from the Critique Club
You asked for a comment from a Critique Club member.
Nice placement for this shot and good all around comments during your voting period, even your wife thinks so!!!
I think what this shot is lacking is details. It is very smooth, with HDR the finer details of a shot are meant to shine on through. Here it is very smooth and no textures to be seen. Back off a little on the noise adjustment or the Topaz. Your colours are very rich , almost too rich. Using a layer of black and white would have helped with this shot and it would have also brought out more of those details that are lacking. Your DOF could do with some more contrast, your POV could have been a little lower, just to get teh steering wheel out of the center there.
Overall, you did a great job, I am looking forward to seeing more of your work! |

Great shot, congrats on such a high finish on your first entry. I agree with the comment below it does look a lot like nikonjeb. I think you might like some of his work.
Back to your shot. I like it. It's a little over the top but thats ok, and thats kinda the idea with this challenge. I would love to see the individual shots you combined. I also agree that black and white would probably look good too. Good job. |

I love that the picture is so rich in color and texture. I don't agree with those saying it's to over done, That's what HDR is about. Amazing Job!!! |

Looks a bit more like Topaz, than HDR, but that's okay. |

ANOTHER one? Surely you must be bored of this place by now? ;o) (If not NikonJeb then I apologise - carry on shooting!)
Nice glow effect though. |

The colors are too warm for me and it's overprocessed for my taste. I like the textures and the perspective adds a lot to the composition, so as the light. |

Very pretty, great HDR and mood set. A little over saturated for my taste. Would love to see this B&W or a bit more de-sat. Love the feeling it makes. Cracked window is cool, looks like spider web. Good job, hope you get the score you were looking for! |

Nice choice of subject. Saturation is a tad more IMO. A more unsaturated grunge effect is a best fit for this subject.

You have managed to give this old rust bucket some really cool, soft and gentle character. I like it. Hope everyone else agrees.

This is screaming Nikonjeb to me. If this is not Jeb's entry, then that should be taken as a compliment. |

It's a bit overdone, but it works for this subject. I like the colours. I think the composition could be improved by having the steering wheel a little more off centre. |

Nice use of HDR to bring out all the details. The processing is somewhat overdone, but in a skillful way. Looks great, love the colors. |
