 A snapshot of the Oscar Mayer hot dog mobile getting onto the freeway in the Seattle area. Shot in auto mode. Some crop, minor iPhoto editing.

Frustrations of a P&S: The car I was riding in was parallel with the wiener mobile when I snapped the shutter. Lag time, we were slightly ahead when the camera took the shot. I was surprised it was as sharp as it was.

Give a whole new twist to "shot in auto" mode, doesn't it? It has a fine driveby feel to it & nice color too.

:-) Fun. Almost has a bit of a lensbaby feel to it with the smaller focal point and surrounding blur.

I share your frustrations with the P&S shutterlag. Certainly something to try and remember (which I'm having a hard time doing!).

Pretty good panning, especially for conditions. I ran across it about a year back and all I had with me at the time was my 1.3 Mp phone-cam. Here's the specs, makes for a fun read:
