 Had many ideas and didn't know how to follow through with them. Luckily I came across this shot on a walk in the park...Hope it does well! :) I wish the "9" wasn't out of focus though!

The light is much to straight on. Bringing the light from the side and blocking it from hitting the background would have made the 9 stand out much more and added some depth to the overall image.

The direct flash on the vine seems to hvae blown the whole thing out. Would have been pretty cool otherwise.

this has harsh light on the wood. I think it would have come better if taken it with shadow or covered with umbrella or something like that.

Simple curved numeral, but the bright lighting and harsh shadows take away from the main subject. Hard to give specific advice without knowing the constraints you had to deal with.

It seems you have taken the photo with flash fired, I'm sure it will look better without it, anyway good idea for a nine

Fits right into the challenge, but the flash here is really harsh. Either turn down the flash(if you can) or use some off camera lighting.
