Cute shot. Overall, the technicals are good as is the b/w conversion. The focus on the paw gives the impression of a missed focus, however... I suspect this was staged.
Nothing wrong with staging a shot, if that is what you did, but in order to be successful as a staged shot it needs to have a great concept or be believable as if it was a candid moment captured. Whether it is staged or not, it also needs to be compelling and that more than anything is what's missing. |

| A favorite use of missed focus for me - I love those little itty bitty details (the paw) backed by the OOF big picture. This works for me. |

| I think this photo fits the challenge topic very well!!! Very much “Missed focus”! Great composition, I love the B/W, and nice bokeh in the OOF areas. Great job!!! |
