The II is just a working title, the Roman numeral "II" for the second image of a series.

It's refreshing to see though how my lack of creativity appears to have spurred the imagination of some of the viewers.
I can only appreciate the interest.

Love the title, but the photo is out-of-focus. I'd bet you won't make that mistake twice.

You're not supposed to admit that, fool! You'll get kicked out of the DPC literati.

Double image? Perpendicular "=" sign? Logical "or" symbol?

in math, || symbol often means parallel... so, parallel worlds, perhaps?

Got my highest vote. Would have given you a ribbon had I not ran out of time voting. That said, the eye is sharp so DNMC. :P

Fantastic! I really do like this oddly enough. Well balanced and interesting. Most of the time I say darken the darks and lighten the lights for b/w (s-curve tone), but this works perfectly as is.

This is quite intriguing, and I'm glad I took a second look at it. (So should you be!)

I think, if this had more variance in tone, I might like it better. Right now, the shapes provide nothing really. Looks like it could be interesting with just more variation or a hue or two. 6

It's a bird on a plank of wood above a wheatfield in the wind, or it's a swirling dark hole in a fast moving stream...

Slowly the archetype comes into focus, but this is before it comes into focus, because when it comes into focus it stops being an archetype. This is about swimming and flying and being.

You get a Posthumous Blur Ribbon .
