 Just one of our outside cats sitting in the grass on a bright sunny fall day. Not a care in the world...just watching the world go by.

Nothing special as far as processing The main blur effect and colors came straight out of my Canon S5 IS.

Post Processing:

Open
Hue/Sat - Reduced by approximately 50 percent
Levels - Minor adjustment
Size - Re size original to 700 on longest side
Border - 15 pixel border on all edges with nice complementary color
Save and Submit - Save for web and submit to DPC

Not sure how this will score. I REALLY love this shot, and I think people with be polarized by it...they will either love it as well or hate it.

I'm hoping for a new personal best (PB) but no matter what I will still enjoy the photo on it's own merits! :)

i was gonna comment on how this is just a photo that's totally OOF (as opposed to "missing" the shot) but your title cracks me up. This does look almost like a bat signal. Funny.
