Very cool looking effect, but that effect is due to motion blur, not focus blur, which is the topic. I'm afraid I am being a bit anal on this challenge, as it seems pretty clearcut. |

I had a very similar thought (half seen/exposed subject), but not enough time to get my act together and do it - I'm glad to see someone else did. You of course, put the technique to use to create a more compelling story than I ever could. Perils of time travel - very clever. |

Off topic but nice image. This is motion blur not "missed" focus because the effect has nothing to do with focus. |
