I, know, I, know, I, know,....this is SHORT DOF, SHALLOW DOF, NARROW DOF, or what ever you call it, ... I totally misunderstood the challenge, my english is not better than that. Sorry.

Deep DOF means most of the image is in focus, this is shallow DOF so doesn't fit the theme.

Even though it is good photo, the whole purpose of deep DOF is not used here at all.
