I have been away on business all week in Wales. I had a meeting in Cardiff so decided to visit the seaside to look for a good DOF shot. The locals must have thought I was crazy taking photos on the beach dressed in my best suit and shoes. I did not have a tripod with me so every shot required building stone castles to rest the camera on.
I had very little time to edit the shot. I am not even sure that I selected the best one as i did not have time to edit more than one selection. very basic editing, white balance adjust as shot in flash! crop, levels, contrast, hue/saturation, noise, sharpen, resize border, sharpen noise, save for web.
I could not believe that this shot was above 7 for the first 40 votes. going backwards now, but still hopeful for a top ten.
P.S the fish and chips on the seafront are excellent. |
