 Some may recognize this from my FS entry from August. I re-uploaded it because I wanted everything consolidated, plus this one is higher quality anyway. It took a lot of waiting for the sky to get to this point, and the cliff I was perched upon was very inhospitable. The wind was gusting up to around 40mph, 25 sustained, and the temp was dropping quick. To my left is a small copse of withered spruce trees that proved how rough the conditions were, as they only had branches on one side- the side opposite the prevailing wind direction.

this is outstanding - i am glad you waited for the sky. when camping, you got nothing but time on your hands, and it is clear that you were taking it in here.
