| well as it is said in the comments, the photo is washed out so you need too spent more time on editing, a highter contrast would have done the job (use Gimp if you cannot afford photoshop...it's free) or try diferent exposures while shooting (considering the type of camera you have, this photo should probably look astonishing if it's taken with the proper exposure and aperture) another thing is that it really doesn't fit the contest, and another subjective matter is not all people want to see graveyards, try shooting something more happier. I didn't have time to vote on all the photos, but if I did I'd give it 3 or 4 just because it has a low contrast not taking the other things mention above. Hope I was helpful |

| I don't quite see how this conveys the challenge topic absent the title. I think it's a bit of a stretch, but an interesting image nonetheless. Might it look better as a black and white? |

| That's a little to pushy to meet the challenge. As for the image per see, the focus seems a bit soft (which is not necessary bad) and the brightness is high - the image appears washed out... |

| Kinda meets the challenge but "straight" is probably not the first thing people would say if you asked them what this photo was about. Pretty good exposure for a situation with light and shadow; could use a bit of sharpening to really bring it out well at this small size. |
