I took this image whilst on holiday in Cyprus earlier this month. I nipped out early to capture some sunrise images and ended up with the added bonus of lots of fishermen everywhere.
This image is a psuedo HDR image created from 1 exposure in RAW. A pink graduated filter was employed.
I have cloned a couple of dust bunnies, increased contrast and saturation over various feathered, selected areas of the image.
Taken using my Sigma 10-20mm (I forgot to add it to my equipment list)

Back for a 2nd viewing and the shot does looks better the 2nd time around. Composition is nice, colors are nicely saturated and very appealing. Bumping to an 8. Does look like a scene from a fairytale.

Well, I could be fishing... or I could be on DPC. I wouldn't catch anything if I tried fishing, so being here is definitely more productive. Here, I can give this image a 9.

Maybe my favorite so far. The wonderful cool palette and the terrific silhouettes. I really like how we can see the line of the fishing rod extend as a leading line into the negative space of the shot, with the sun slightly beneath. Great composition too.
