 this is my friend Daniel.
we wanted to take a picture representing the dorian gray story.
So, I came with an idea to put an old picture from my gallery on the computer screen behind him.
since it was taken at the office , we couldn't really light the cigarette, though, I think it was better with some smoke and the right hand off the frame.
post:converted to B&W. used a little graduated filter darken small area on the right upper corner.

I think that if that was on specifiec story challenge, it could take a ribbon, in this challenge maybe in top 20..

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for my Mu (most underrated) award:

Positives: This is a very well executed and conceived image - an intriguing set up.

Critical stuff: I'm about as anti-smoking as they come so I'm never going to be a fan of this image. Photographically it feels too close but perhaps it's just me recoiling as I would in real life.

Overall: An interesting vision, skilfully executed.

Excellent potrait , would have liked the background just a tad darker to give a little more seperation , bumping to an 8
