 rope that i saw when walking along the waterfront between fells point and canton in baltimore. the rope was looped around a cleat, so it wasn't at risk of floating away, but this is exactly as i found the end of the rope (if i tried to make it look random i'm sure it would have looked fake)

Pretty simple, and it looks like a quick shot that you just happened to notice, but it really appeals to me. The texture of the rope came out looking really good and it contrasts nicely with the dock.

Nice and simple. I wonder if a hand holding the rope would have created more of a story. (not voting)

Looks a little bit like a snake, then somewhat like graffiti (a little bit). :-) I like this for the natural tones. The wood complements the rope very well. Good luck!

*not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*

I like this alot. Great textures, and the border looks nice. I think i'd prefer it without the slight tilt that causes the planks to not line up perfectly but otherwise great capture.
