| Great shot. I love the high contrast B&W. The selective desat is perfect and really draws the eye in. |

very nice lighting (Rembrandt type) and focus is exactly where it needs to be. And even selective desat (which I usually hate) works here, although I personally would get rid of it still - especially in a shot called "Lashes" :). Too bad you had to pull it (but you may still use it in Best of 2009!)

| Quite lovely. I love the way the light just brushes the eye on her left (viewer's right) - creates a touch of vulnerability and gentleness. |
