 So, our house was overtaken by the flu last week. When I saw this image (sitting in a "to process" folder), I connected with the headless bird. The tones help to set the mood. The motion of the bird implies purpose despite clipped appendages and decapitation. This bird is strong! Like a sick and tired parent getting it done. Ha!decapitation! This bird is strong! This is most excellent. Tones, textures, clarity, light, the layers of the sky, water, surf, bird, sand... but mostly that mid-air step and reflection. Most excellent.
