 I am learning how to do some portraits so I had the perfect subject, my little sister. I need the criticism so tell me what I need to do to better my shots. I do not have any editing programs so all my pictures are straight from the memory card.

have you gotten any editing software yet? if you're low on cash, look at gimp (my personal fave). it's free and powerful. it's tough to learn at first but you can do quite a lot with it! :)

This is a great image of the baby enjoying a frosty A&W Root Beer. I think the key to the challenge was to create a dynamic image which would involve movement. This image is more static. Also the subject seems to be centered in the frame and doesn't appear to be entering or leaving the frame.

Sorry about first comment and the low first rate. I just misunderstood rules of the contest about having or not peoples in the frame...Anyway I will fix my mistake. Thanks for you understanding

cute picture, but she's just sitting. She's neither entering or leaving the frame. You might have meant that the hands or the pop is leaving the frame, but that seems a stretch, imo. Sorry...

to me this looks very static and doesn't meet the challenge theme. i just don't see anything moving in our out of the frame here.

A baby sitting there drinking a sugary drink she shouldn't be having anyway is not something moving in or out of frame. Does not meet challenge.

lovely portrait but dnmc1 did it perhaps land in the wrong challenge would have given it 8 in artificial lighting. 5
