 Well, for this moment , he was good...
Gus is now twelve weeks & weighs 15 lb.-compared to our Lab, Zeke who died this Spring- Gus is smaller in stature, more wiry & has shorter ears. i think it's fun to compare them- my husband doesn't think it's " healthy"- LOL !

I love how the eyes are in focus & the head, as a beginning photographer I think this shot is really lovely.

Roz said it the pain of losing Zeke is less intense and it's natural to compare as they are the 2 of the boys in your life...
Gus is such a darn cutie I can't stand it..

He is just so darned CUTE!!!

And I don't see anything wrong with noticing how various pets are the same or different. It means you really see them as individuals, not generic interchangeable "Labs."

gus is gorgeous pat .. and i dont think there's anything wrong with making those comparisons ... its probably a sign that your grief for zeke is less intense and you can think of him without too much pain .. ?
its a great shot .. he really is very photogenic .. :)
