A 4.7 waiting to happen. This is, possibly, the most frustrated I've been with getting together a challenge image. I had sooooooo many ideas floating around in my head: this one (but very poorly executed, thanks for noticing), a Church-Mosque-Synagogue (Monotheism), a shot of Toronto-The Falls-Fall Foliage (Ontario, Yours to Discover), and some others like three abandoned things (a building, a car, and a street person). Honestly, where do you cats & kittens find the friggin' time?!?! My wife thought I was nuts, rushing home from work to rush back out and make pictures.
Did I already say **sigh**?
The post-processing steps for the Jet were sharpen, Topaz/Drama, for the train and the highway: sharpen, blow out the highlights with level and gaussian blur on a second, normal-blend layer backed off to i-forget-%.

I really quite liked this - knew right off what you were going for when it opened in voting. Love your notes - it's always somewhat reassuring to know that someone else finds these whole challenge things supremely frustrating at times, yet still perseveres!! :-)
Out of the three, I like the airplane shot best. In the train shot, the sky is blown out. I can understand that it is possible in an overcast day, which you can't help it with basic editing. In the automobile shot, the roadwork cones are slightly distracting.
Great idea! If possible, maybe i would choose one water transportation to cover earh, water and sky, but i think you did great. The only thing that bothers me is the red trails that begin in the middle of the road, on the automobiles pic... maybe this is not a big deal...
